In addition to his conservatory training, Ben is a highly accomplished recording artist whose work was featured in the movie “Brothers Bloom” (2009) starring the Oscar winning actor Adrien Brody. 

Ben has performed in front of audiences of over 15,000 people opening shows for Coldplay, Steve Miller Band, Ricky Skaggs, and former members of the Talking Heads.

As an educator, Ben has been a guest clinician for colleges and numerous public school districts. In these presentations he demonstrates the art of improvisation for strings in jazz, fiddling, and rock genres.

As a composer, Ben has scored the music for live performances with the Citi-Arts Dance Ensemble and had his original compositions premiered at the opening of the Hartford Convention Center. 

Ben recently recorded an album of original string music for the Hartford Arts Council. His solo debut album "String Theory" has recieved great reviews and is now available on iTunes, CD Baby and Spotify.
